The Georgia Occupational Therapy Association (GOTA) is an affiliate of the American Occupational Therapy Association.  The GOTA is a 501(c)(4) corporation organized under the non-profit laws of Georgia.

GOTA’s membership is comprised of occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and students of occupational therapy who work with people experiencing health problems such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, cancer, congenital conditions, developmental problems, and mental illness.

Our members practice in a wide range of settings including schools, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health, outpatient rehabilitation clinics, psychiatric facilities, and community health programs.

The objectives of our organization are to advance the practice of occupational therapy in order to enhance the health of the public in its medical community and educational environments through research, education, action, service, and maintenance of standards.
